Ancient Mark Candle | Papunya | Max10

Baobab’s Papunya scented candle, with its red ochre glazing streaked with ecru lines, evokes the vibrant colors of the Australian desert. The engravings on the ceramic, inspired by Aboriginal art, tell ancestral stories and give the object a mystical aura.

Papunya, a gathering place for Aboriginal communities, saw the birth of a unique artistic movement that celebrates the culture and heritage of these peoples.
