Gio Ponti – Taschen book

Italian architect and designer Gio Ponti (1891–1979) is a key figure in modernism. His prolific and diverse body of work spans architecture, industrial design, and interior design. Ponti made his mark on history with his ceramic creations, cutlery, and glassware, as well as his architectural projects, ranging from housing to residential towers, schools, and offices.

His innovative approach to residential design, combining interior and exterior with a "total design" vision, is particularly highlighted. Ponti, founder and editor-in-chief of domus, continually reinvented his style, as evidenced by the Denver Art Museum, his churches, and the famous Pirelli Tower in Milan.
