The octopus, often mysterious and misinterpreted, is a cephalopod of remarkable intelligence with surprising camouflage abilities. In an instant, it can adjust its color to blend into its environment. When threatened, it escapes by ejecting a cloud of black ink. In cooking, it is a particularly tasty dish when its flesh is tenderized.
